Grumpy's
There's been a bar on this corner since 1906. Back in the day it was a blue-collar joint where local Poles and Croats would come for beer and fellowship, then it became a "cop bar" named Zurbey's. In 1998 it was bought by new owners and they renamed it Grumpy's. They didn't waste much money redecorating the place and thank God for that because it still has a great cozy nostalgic charm inside. Terrazzo floors, wood paneling, flocked wallpaper and over the years all kinds of collected knick-knacks. It's a beloved place, frequented by young and old alike. I recommend you stop by!
